Punjab Law Minister says Iran helped Pakistan in every hour of need
While leaders of opposition parties in the Punjab assembly have termed Arab-Islamic-American Summit in Riyadh as a conspiracy to isolate Iran, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said that Iran is a friend of Pakistan as Tehran extended help to Islamabad in every hour of need.
Talking to media on the premises of Punjab assembly on Monday, Rana said Iran is a brotherly Muslim neighbouring country and they would not support any alliance against this brotherly country.
Talking about speech of US President Donald Trump in this summit, Rana said the whole world is aware of sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in war against terrorism, so we don’t require any praise from the US President on this issue. Regarding statement by the US President against Iran in this summit, Rana said the US President’s remarks against Iran would in fact create problems for Saudi Arabia. “Iran has gained sympathies after the statement of the US President,” he said.
