Thousands of women to attend Imam Mehdi Conference at Nishtar Park

The women wing of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has geared up their mobilisation campaign to make their ‘Stability of Pakistan and Imam Mehdi Conference’ a successful event. The conference will be held at Nishtar Park on Sunday May 21.

Ms Ummul Baneen, Zahra Naqvi and Sarwat Zehra are leading the mobilisation campaign in Karachi where they have conducted visits of many areas and held meetings with women.
These three officials anticipate huge turnout of women supporters at the Imam Mehdi Conference. At meetings in District Korangi areas, they briefed women on the Stability of Pakistan and Imam Mehdi Conference.
They said that MWM was campaigning against terrorism, takfirism. They said that enemies of Islam were trying to harm Islam and Muslims and now they also began disseminating baseless propaganda against Imam Mehdi who is accepted and respected by all Muslims, alike. Hence, MWM decided to defend the Muslims belief in Imam Mehdi as the divine Messiah.
