Cabinet subcommittee decides action against sectarianism thru social media

The subcommittee of federal cabinet on law and order has approved action against those involved in spread of sectarian hatred through social media.

So far, 20 people have been identified as involved in the misuse of social media to disseminate sectarian hatred in Pakistan through their contents. The subcommittee approved action against these 20 people.
At its latest meeting, the subcommittee on law and order of the federal cabinet ordered the arrest of those 57 suspects named in the fourth schedule.
The subcommittee also ordered intensified action against the criminals and terrorists in Gujrat, Sheikhupura and Faisalabad.
