Dawn leaks inquiry committee report be made public: Allama Raja Nasir

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has demanded that the Dawn leaks inquiry committee report must be made public forthwith so that people of Pakistan should know the facts about this national security issue.

“All political and religio-political parties should exert pressure on the government to make the Dawn leaks inquiry report public,” he urged yesterday.
Allama Jafari further said that the director general of the Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) (head of army’s media wing) has rejected the government’s executive order that showed the army was not satisfied with the government action on the issue.
He said that two officials were made scapegoat after the Dawn leaks inquiry report that is not enough. He said the real face behind all this should be unveiled and be taken to task. He said that Dawn leaks issue should be probed by superior judiciary itself.
