Great Shia martyrs remembered at Azmat-e-Shohda Conference in Skardu

Shia Muslims of Gilgit-Baltistan largely attended the ‘Dignity of Martyrs Conference’ in Gamba area in Skardu yesterday that was jointly organized by Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdoms of victims of massacres of Chilas, Kohistan and Babusar/Lulu Sar.

Speakers who spoke at the conference demanded capital punishment to the perpetrators of these tragic massacres and their facilitators without any delay.
Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Aijaz Behishti, Shaikh Kazim Zakir, Shaikh Akbar Rajai, Shaikh Karimi, Shaikh Karamati, Ibrahim Azad, Syed Noori, Shaikh Zeeshan Ali and Fida Hussain spoke at the conference.
They condemned the takfiris for massacre of innocent Shia Muslims in said three major massacres. They said that takfiri terrorists of banned outfits must be eliminated.
They denounced the government’s biased approach to peaceful Shia Muslims of Gilgit-Baltistan. They said it was not acceptable that Shia Muslims land is being confiscated in the name of Kahlisa Sarkar. They said apart from it many Shia-specific policies were in practice to victimize Shia Muslims, selectively. They said peaceful Shia scholars and notables were named in the fourth schedule because the Saudi-allied government wants to subjugate the Shia Muslims.
