Speaker National Assembly inspired by true teachings of Islam at Qom

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that he was very much impressed and inspired by the true teachings of Islam aimed at promoting unity and fraternity among Muslims and love and tolerance for entire humanity.

“Daesh and other takfiri terrorist groups tarnished the bright image of Islam by their intolerant ideology of hatred and violent extremism but the religious seminaries at Qom renders great services to spread true message of Islam,” he said during his visit to the Iranian sacred and historical city of Qom.
Ayaz Sadiq led parliamentary delegation of Pakistan also visited the holy shrine of Bibi Fatima Masooma (AS) in Qom and other graves of the great Islamic scholars such as Ayatollah Boroujerdi and others at Qom. They offered fateha there.
Talking to his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani in Tehran at the start of three-day visit of Pakistan’s Parliamentary delegation to Iran, he also stressed on enhancing trade and commercial ties between Pakistan and Iran.
The Speaker urged the Iranian side to lift the tariff barriers on Pakistani exports of rice, citrus, fruits, cotton and other items.
He also invited Iran to join the CPEC to boost Iranian exports.
Talking about Afghanistan issue, Ayaz Sadiq said regional issues should be resolved by the countries of the region without interference of any foreign involvement.
He also highlighted the condition of Muslims in Occupied Kashmir and said Pakistan wants to resolve the Kashmir issue through UN resolutions and political dialogue.
Speaker Ali Larijani extended Iran’s full cooperation and support.
