Pakistani pilgrims complain biased visa policy of Saudi monarchy

Biased Saudi Wahhabi monarchy has struck another blow to Pakistani pilgrims by reducing the timeframe for leaving Pakistan for Saudi Arabia within 15 days after issuance of visa.

Earlier, Pakistanis were allowed one month to do so that was also against the standard practice by Iran who allows Pakistanis to leave for Iran within 90 days since issuance of visa to them.
This visa policy for Umrah-bound Pakistani pilgrims evoked anger and dismay from the affected pilgrims and those travel agencies who facilitate Umrah pilgrimage.
Earlier, Saudi government had announced revision of visa fee soaring it from 500 Saudi riyals to 2000 riyals making Hajj and Umrah more expensive for Muslims around the world. Increased fee was being received from October 2, 2016 (1st Muharram).
