NOC issued to Raheel Sharif without consulting stakeholders, says Allama Sajid

Chief of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has said that the PMLN government issued the NOC to former army chief General Raheel Sharif (retired) to serve Saudi-led military alliance, without consulting anybody.

Allama Naqvi was of the view that all the stakeholders should have been consulted and decision should have been taken in accordance with the opinion of the stakeholders.
Speaking at the last sitting of 3-day Ulema Convention in Darul Uloom Jafaria Karbala he said that lack of rule of law was the root cause of all ills of Pakistan. He said that the aristocracy/affluent class is above the law. He said that peace cannot be established in the country without rule of law. He said that National Action Pan have to be implemented in letter and spirit to make Pakistan cradle of peace.
The SUC chief said that the rulers were powerless and toeing the line of the Unites States and allies.
He said that secular lobby was creating hurdles in the way of unity of religious forces but Shia Ulema Council has been working to cement the unity of Muslims from the platform of Milli Yakjehti Council.
