Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, chief of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, has urged that there must be a new social contract for Pakistani nation under which new credible institutions should be established to win the trust of people who seem to don’t have trust in present institutions.

He said that people get confused due to divergent views and reaction to the verdicts of the judiciary and the decisions of the Parliament that were expressed by the opponents of the decisions and propagated by politicians, experts and media persons.
He said that this situation has divided nation and spread confusion among them and uncertainty in the society. Hence, he emphasized that the powers that be must focus on building trust so that people should not get confused on important national decisions.
