Joint Interrogation Team reports 18 killings by chief of Deobandi group

The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report of Deobandi Tanzeem ul-Islami amir Hafiz Nasir aka Yasir says that he has confessed to have killed 18 people. He had conducted recce of Ismaili Shia (Nazari Aga Khanis) of Azhar Garden who were massacred by Deobandi terrorists near Safoora Chowrangi.

The goldsmith became a terrorist while trying to save his brother. The revelations were made by the suspect allegedly involved in attacks on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) offices and Safoora attack. The suspect had held some important meetings at various hotels of the city ahead of the attack.
According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) sources, the suspect spied on al-Azhar Garden before the Safoora attack. He revealed that he had failed in the first attempt. The suspect was involved in various massive terrorist attacks along with his brother Umar aka Fawad. During these meetings Tahir Saien, Saad Aziz, Azhar and Umar had promised not to harm the kids and women in the attack.
The suspect told that when Umar and Tahir Minhas came to a house after the attack, their clothes were red with blood. When he asked them about the kids and the women murdered in the attack, they had a quarrel with him.
Nasir and his brother confessed to have killed 18 people in the city over sectarian differences. CTD sources told that the suspect used to run a jewellery shop along with his father till 2012. Later, he made a name for himself in the outlawed terrorist organisation.
