Sunni Tehreek Chief Sarwat Ejaz Qadri has lashed out at the government for closure of shrines of Muslims saints saying that action be taken against the terrorists instead of denying the devotees of their due right to pay respect at the shrines.

Government had ordered closure of many shrines as a precautionary security measures in the wake of suicide bombing at the holy shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif (Sindh).
Qadri said that government had collected the billions of rupees donated by the devotees at the shrines of Muslim saints but ministers misuse these funds to enjoy luxurious lives instead of spending the money on foolproof security measures at and around the shrines.
He demanded immediate reopening of all the shrines of Muslims saints. He said Pakistani nation was united against the scourge of terrorism and all pledged to fight till last breath against the terrorists.
