Lawyer among 6 killed in suicide bombing on Charsadda court

At least six people including a lawyer have been killed and 30 others have been injured in a terrorist attack on a local court in Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Death toll is expected to rise as several injured persons are reportedly in critical condition.

According to DIG Mardan, three suicide attackers tried to enter the session court in Tangi Tehsil. One attacker blew himself up at the main gate while two others were killed when they opened fire and also threw hand grenades, prompting retaliatory fire by security personnel deployed at the court.
