Shia parties and scholars condemn suicide bombing in Lahore
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Shia Ulema Council, Tehreek-e-Nifaz-Fiqh-e-Jafaria Paksistan, Jafaria Alliance have other Shia groups have strongly condemned the suicide bombing that left at least 15 Pakistani Muslims dead in Lahore alongside 68 injured.
Allama Sajid Naqvi, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, Allama Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, former Senator Abbas Kumaili, Allama Amin Shaheedi and several other eminent Shia leaders and scholars expressed their sympathy with the heirs of the martyrs of the Lahore suicide attack. They offered condolences to the heirs of the martyrs.
They said that had the government implemented National Action Plan and allowed the military courts to continue, terrorist attacks in Parachinar and Lahore would not have occurred.
Allama Nazir Hussain Taqvi and Syed Kashif Zahoor Naqvi of the SUC, Imamia Students Organization and Pasban-e-Aza also condemned the attack.
Allama Kashif Zahoor blamed Punjab government saying that their negligence had encouraged and emboldened the terrorists to do so.
