Allama Nazir urges govt to stop biased policy against Shia prisoner
Shia Ulema Council Sindh chapter president Allama Syed Nazir Taqvi has warned the government that biased policy against the Shia prisoners could lead to violent confrontation inside Karachi jail.
He said that Shia Muslims had noticed for a long time that prisoners belonging to the banned terrorist outfits were allowed free hand in Karachi central jail where they had attacked Shia prisoners while they were observing religious rituals on Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS).
Allama Nazir Taqvi alerted the Sindh government to stop biased officials from giving free hand to banned terrorist outfits. He also demanded that Shia prisoners should not be transferred to other barracks from their specific barrack.
