Shia Muslim missing since return from Karbala pilgrimage

30 January, 2017 08:55

Naseem Haider is the ill-fated Shia Muslims who have gone missing since his return from Karbala pilgrimage to his home city Karachi where he landed along with his wife and children.

His wife has lodged complaints with the relevant agencies but his whereabouts are not made known despite passage of 72 hours. Law enforcement agencies have failed to recover him.
Naseem Haider is resident of Gulbahar Jafaria Colony. He and his family had gone to Iraq for pilgrimage and soon after their return, cops in plain-cloths took him away.
It is relevant to add here that Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has said yesterday that state (agencies) was involved in disappearance of citizens. He rightly said why those picked up (by security agencies) are not being produced in the court for trial if they were involved in any crime.
Many Shia Muslims have gone missing and their families believed that security agencies were involved in their mysterious disappearance. But, nobody raised voice in their favour
