JUIF Senator says Saudi military alliance not in interest of Pakistan

A Senator from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Hafiz Hamdullah has opposed the Saudi-led military alliance on the ground that it was aimed at pleasing the United States and it was against the interest of Pakistan.

Speaking at Express News talk show hosted by Javed Chaudhry, JUIF Senator further said that Saudi-led military alliance was formed for (US-dictated agenda of) sectarianism in the name of Sunni Muslims.
“US administration says that Saudi-led military alliance will strengthen Sunnis! Against whom? It means the Sunni Muslims will not be strengthened against the U.S. but they will be strengthened against other sect,” JUIF Senator Hamdullah said rejecting the sectarian division among Muslims.
