Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has begun consultation with leaders of Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Sunni Ittehad Council and other parties to develop a consensus against Pakistani role in Saudi-led controversial alliance.

MWM’s secretary on political affairs Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi made telephonic contacts with Shah Mehmood Qureshi of the PTI and Nadeem Afzal Chan of the PPP. He also contacted Sahibzada Hamid Raza of the SIC. Naqvi also conversed with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur of Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
MWM official said that soon he would meet these leaders. He foresees a consensus against the Saudi alliance and joining by Pakistan’s former army chief General Raheel Sharif in that alliance.
