Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari being observed in Pakistan

Anniversary of Imam Hassan Aaskari’s martyrdom is being observed in all over Pakistan today. Pakistani Shia Muslims has the day by holding mourning congregations and bringing out mourning processions.

Imam Hassan Aaskari (AS), is 11th infallible Imam of Shia Islam and after his martyrdom due to plots of Abbasi dynastic regime, his son Mohammad Mahdi was named as 12th infallible Imam.
In Karachi, a chup taazia procession was brought out from Nishtar Park and that was on way to Hussainia Iranian.
Another mourning procession is being taken out from Imam Bargah Shohda-e-Karbala Sadat Colony Incholi while main procession is being brought out from Imam Bargah Shah e Karbala Rizvia that will culminate at Imam Bargah Shah e Najaf in Martin Quarters area at Maghrib.
