Army Chief hosts congregation to mark birth anniversary of Prophet of Islam
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has hosted a mehfil-e-milad or a congregation that is Muslims celebration to mark the anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam.
Political observers have attached great importance to that event because pro-Saudi cleric Professor Sajid Mir had claimed that General Bajwa is a Qadiani (non-Muslim) and Sajid Mir had opposed his appointment as army chief of Pakistan.
Many Sunni Muslim notables and naat khwaan attended the General Bajwa-hosted milad congregation to turn down the empty claim of Sajid Mir.
Wahhabi and Deobandis within the powerful quarters of the state institutions had always tried to push the Sunni Bralevis and Shia Muslims to the wall to attain their short-sighted nefarious sectarian goals due to which Talibanisation of Pakistan and facilitation to takfiris such as al-Qaida and affiliates were encouraged by these biased violators of the Pakistani constitution.
