Bid to hit azadari procession in Karachi foiled

wepanPolice said that terror bid was foiled during a raid on an empty house in Shah Faisal Colony from where huge cache of arms were recovered on Tuesday.
Shiite News Correspondent reported that the SSP District East Police Pir Muhammad Shah told reporters at a press conference that police conducted a raid on an empty house in Shah Faisal Colony after getting information, and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

It included four Kalashnikovs, four 9mm pistols, three TT pistols and hundreds of bullets.

He said that the terrorists were planning to target a Muharram-ul-Haram procession in Shah Faisal Colony tonight.

SSP East Muhammad Shah said the owner of the house would also be interrogated. Some documents were also found from the house that belong to London, he added.
