3 Shia Muslims martyred in armed attack of Yazidi terrorists in Gujranwala
Notorious Yazidi nasbi takfiri terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba shot martyred three Shia Muslims while they were lining up to offer Fajr prayers in Gujranwala, Punjab on Saturday.
The Yazidi terrorists made murderous attacks on Shiites in Shia mosque and Imam Bargah Zainabya in Shah Rukh Colony and Mohammad Pura area of Gujranwala. Three Shiites embraced martyrdom due to attacks. Syed Talat Naqvi was martyred in Imam Bargah in Shah Rukh Colony while Mohammad Yousuf and Haji Amanat were martyred in Momin Pura.
The triple murders sparked off vehement protest from the heirs as well as relatives of the martyrs and other Shiites of the area. They gathered at Alam Chowk Bypass and then carried the coffins of the martyrs to G.T. Road connecting Gujranwala with Lahore and Islamabad.
Their sit-in compelled the police to hold talks with the aggrieved Shiites but talks failed because the protestors demanded immediate arrest of the assassins.
Shia parties and leaders have condemned the attack and loss of lives and demanded capital punishment to the terrorists.
