Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari says azadari is a global movement against oppressors

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that azadari is a global movement against the forces of oppression and tyranny.
“Azadari is the platform to spread the teachings of Imam Hussain Alaehassalam and his followers who fought the Yazidi forces in Karbala to uphold the true Islam,” he said in a statement on Moharram 1435 A.H.

He said that Moharram refreshes the sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala because of azadari of the martyrs across the world.

“Imam Hussain-led martyrs of Karbala taught a lesson to humanity, let alone Muslims, that the tyranny and oppression must be resisted come what may,” he said.

Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari said that Pakistan suffers from crisis due to inept, incompetent and incapable rulers and the country could come out of the prevailing crisis if Imam Hussain (AS) is followed as a role model.

“Imam Hussain (AS) believes in self-reliance and trust in Allah. Nobody else but Imam Hussain (AS) and his followers in Karbala had the courage to challenge the illegitimate rule of Umayyad dynasty. This spirit is needed to challenge the global forces of oppression,” he asserted.

The MWM’s head said that Karbala has been a university where all disciplines are taught so that human beings could learn how to spend a comprehensive and just life. He said that Muslim world can give a tit-for-tat response to the enemies of Islam and humanity if they follow the true path of Imam Hussain (AS).
