Allama Rahat Hussaini’s rejoinder to Gilgit-Baltistan on Youm-e-Hussain

Gilgit-based renowned Shia scholar told a parliamentary party group of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz that National Counter-Terrorism Authority had not banned holding of Youm-e-Hussain (AS) programmes in educational institutions and no such ban was imposed in any other part of Pakistan.

He said Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister’s statement was incorrect about NACTA ban on commemoration of Imam Hussain (AS) by Youm-e-Hussain (AS). He said now he was giving proof that Youm-e-Hussain (AS) is being observed in all over Pakistan but the G-B CM sought only one example of that permission hence after he gave three examples, chief minister must lift ban on Youm-e-Hussain (AS) in educational institutions.
He expressed concern on arrest of innocent youths and registration of false case against them. He urged the parliamentary delegates of the PMLN (G-B) to play their role in withdrawal of the case and release of all the arrested persons forthwith.
