MWM demands end of diplomatic ties with US, Operation against Taliban

Difa-e-Watan Convention (Defense of Pakistan Convention) , a mammoth public meeting of Shia Muslims of Gilgit, strongly condemned the US drones attacks on Pakistani soil and outlawed Taliban terrorism against Pakistani People. 
The conference demanded of the Government to cut the diplomatic ties with United States for its aggression against Pakistan and eliminate the Taliban terrorists involved in the genocide of Pakistani People.
Tens of thousands of supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) thronged Captain Zameer Shaheed Chowk Momin Bazar Gilgit in the historical meeting ever held in Gilgit demanded the constitutional rights of the constitutionally deprived region of Gilgit-Baltistan, the land of loyal Pakistan people.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen in his historial address to the mammoth gathering said that the United States’ drone attacks inside Pakistan are in violation of sovereignty of Pakistan but it remains a fact that the terrorists too violate the Pakistan’s sovereignty.
“Pakistan has to break off all relations with the U.S. and launch a military operation in the FATA to eliminate terrorists to assert its sovereignty. This is the only way out,” he stressed.
Allama Jafari said that the participation in the U.S. projects in the past have entrapped Pakistan in the prevailing critical situation. The outlawed terrorists have a history of fighting proxy wars for the U.S. and they have also reached Syria to advance the Zionist interests being advanced by the U.S.
“U.S. and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia introduced American brand of Islam in Saudi packing and their brand brought instability in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia, Middle East and South Asia in particular,” he said.
Allama Amin Shaheedi, Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abidi, Sunni Ittehad Council Chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Maulana Agha Rahat Hussain Al-Hussaini, Former Executive of Gilgit-Baltistan FIda Nashad, Maulana Nayyar Abbas, Agha SYed ALi Rizvi, Nasir Abbas and other officials spoke at the conference.
MWM Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM) is the only representative Shia party of the shiite Muslims of Pakistan and announced that his party will participate the upcoming elections of Gilgit-Baltistan legislative council.
He said that the brave Pakistani nation has rejected the supporters of terrorists saying that the presence of tens of thousands of people in the meeting was the referendum against those who supports extremism and terrorism.
Allama Jafri claimed that the Shia and Sunni Muslims of the country who had played vital role in foundation of Pakistan are united to protect the country from the menace of extremism and Talibanization.
He cited that Uzbek, Arab and Chinese terrorists have either been killed or captured from Pakistani areas. He said that terrorists use Pakistani territory to attack Iranian border guards and Revolutionary Guards. Hence, it may be said both the U.S. and terrorists violate the sovereignty of Pakistan.
He paid rich tribute to the martyrs of Gilgit-Balitistan saying that we are following the path of our martyrs and not allowed the enemies to hatch the conspiraices against our beloved land.
In his address, Senator Faisal Abidi said that terrorists deserve no mercy, let alone amnesty. He said that the terrorists are against Pakistan and they have repudiated the Constitution of Pakistan. He said that the PMLN government has to prove its pro-Pakistan credentials on many issues including Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project.
Referring to the Pakistan Army , he urged the Pakistan Army to revisit its policy and make the relations with the loyal and credible people not with those who involved in the suicide attacks and killing of Army officials saying that followers of Mohammad (pbuh) and AhleBait (as) are the real soldiers of Pakistan.
He condemned the Government and Political parties over their mourning on the killing of a terrorist of outlawed Taliban adding that Saudi Arab was involved in the bloodshed in Pakistan with the hands of extremist Talibans.
Sahibzada Hamid Raza, head of Sunni Ittehad Council, urged that the outlawed TTP should lay down their arms without any delay and announce surrender forthwith. He said that Sunni and Shia Muslims of Pakistan want the PMLN government and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should not give the terrorists another chance to regroup and strengthen their position. He endorsed the proposals of Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari saying that the U.S. and the TTP plus its allies are the enemies of Pakistan.
He announced that on behalf of 22 Sunni Parties “We Shia and Sunni are brothers and we will fight against enemies of Pakistan jointly and foil the conspiriacies of anti-Pakistan elements”.
SIC Chief said that the prime target of Taliban terrorsits are Pakistan armed forces, Sunni and SHia clerics because they are the defense line of Pakistan.
MWM Deputy Secretary General Allama Amin Shaheedi opposed the negotiations with Taliban saying that we would never accept the dialogues with the killers of 45000 Pakistan people.
He demanded of the representation of Gilgit-Baltistan people in National Assembly and Senate.

In the resolutions adopted at the Difa-e-Watan Convention (Defense of Pakistan Convention), the policy of dialogue with the terrorists was opposed. It demanded end of diplomatic ties with United States.
It said that neither the U.S. nor the terrorists can be said friends of Pakistan because both of them have attacked Pakistan and Pakistanis including civilians and military personnel and their properties and installations. Therefore Difa-e-Watan Convention (Defense of Pakistan Convention) rejects strategic dialogue with the U.S. and hypocritical dialogue with the outlawed Taliban’s terrorists.
