Sunni Muslim who embraced martyrdom alongside Shia Muslims buried
Nadeem Lodhi was a Sunni Muslims who embraced martyrdom alongside Shia Muslims at a mourning congregation in Nazimabad No.4. His funeral prayer was held in North Nazimabad near his house where renowned Shia scholar Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, head of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee, also attended.
Syed Irfan Haider and Kumail Abbas of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen district central chapter of Karachi also attended the funeral prayers and procession in Kausar Niazi Colony North Nazimabad.
Martyr Lodhi was another incontrovertible proof of Sunni-Shia unity in Pakistan against the Deobandi takfiris of proscribed ASWJ who had perpetrated suicide bombing to assassinate Sunni scholar Mufti Sarfaraz Naeemi and also bombed numerous shrines of Sunni saints across Pakistan on their own or in connivance with their allies such as Taliban, Jamaatul Ahrar, Daesh and also by their sister-wing Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
