Three Deobandi terrorists of banned outfit killed in Karachi encounter
At least three takfiri terrorists of a banned Deobandi organization were killed in an armed encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) near Korangi Causeway in Karachi on Wednesday night.
The CTD police team conducted an intelligence-based raid near Korangi Causeway during which the Deobandi takfiri terrorists (of ASWJ-LeJ-TTP) present in the area opened fire at the raiding party. The CTD personnel returned the fire due to which three terrorists were killed.
According to SSP Counter Terrorism Department Junaid Sheikh, the killed terrorists were members of a banned organization. Although he didn’t mention the name, it is understood that proscribed ASWJ, its sister-wing Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and allies such as Taliban, Daesh, Jamaatul Ahrar and al-Qaeda are those banned outfits whose members remained engaged in gun-battles with the security forces in all over Pakistan, let alone Karachi.
