Muharram terror bid foiled as 2 terrorists arrested in Sargodha

Police have foiled a major terror plan in Sargodha yesterday arresting two Deobandi takfiri terrorists of Wahhabis-allied local chapter of Al-Qaeda founded by a Saudi close to royal family.

Five hand grenades, 37 mortar shells, two kilograms of explosives and seven kalshnikovs were also recovered during the raid. According to police, the terrorists were planning a major terror attack during Muharram-ul-Haram. They wanted mass scale Shia Muslims during azadari procession which Shiites take out to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala.
