Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Karachi chapter has condemned the targeted attacks on law-abiding peaceful Shia Muslim notables and mourners (azadars) in Karachi and demanded of the judiciary to award capital punishment to the takfiri terrorists of banned outfits, their mother organization and their facilitators.

“Targeted murders of Shia Muslims continue unabated. Even Shia women were brutally shot dead in Quetta and now a Shia principal and Imam Bargah trustee has been ambushed. All these attacks proved failure of targeted operations and National Action Plan,” said Engineer Syed Raza Naqvi, deputy secretary general, MWM, in a statement.
He said that massacre of Shiites in Pakistan was no less than genocide and saner people across the world have expressed solidarity with oppressed Shia Muslims of Pakistan but the state authorities failed to take action against the mother of all terrorism that is mother organization of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. They said banning non-controversial pro-peace Shia scholars and banning azadari rituals by the state authorities were itself signs of encouraging and emboldening the terrorists of banned outfits and a signal to them to continue genocide against Shia Muslims.
