Shia Muslims of Matli have hoisted record numbers of alam pak (sacred flags attributed to flag-bearer Hazrat Abbas) turning down the restrictions being imposed on azadari rituals.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, a leading Shi party, has encouraged fluttering thousands of alam (sacred flags) in every nook and cranny of Matli, a town in district Badin of Sindh province.
Yaqub Hussaini, an official of the MWM vowed that sky will be the limit when you talk of azadari and no restriction will be tolerated against smooth holding of rituals of mourning (azadari) of Imam Hussain (AS).
