DG Khan: Shia Man embraced martyrdom succumbing to shot injuries

A Shia man who was shot injured due to firing of terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba and Taliban in Tunsa District Dera Ghazi Khan on Tuesday succumbed to fatal wounds at local hospital in Lahore.

Mohammad Shafiq, a Shia Muslim, was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of local hospital in Lahore 33 days ago ( 29th August 2013) when he was critically injured in the firing of armed militants of Sipah-e-Sahaba and Taliban in Vohawa area of Tunsa Sharif district Dera Ghazi Khan.

The genocide of Shia Muslims are being witnessed in violent hit Pakistan from the last three decades with the support of Pakistan Military establishment. Shia parties and leaders have condemned the attack and untimely demise of Shia youth and said it was part of ongoing pogrom of Shiites being pursued by outlawed takfiri nasbi Yazidi terrorists of outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. They said LeJ is an offshoot of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba that has renamed as Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat.
