Renowned azdar of Karachi taken into custody without any justification

Counter Terrorism Department of Sindh Police have taken an active and well-known azadar into custody without any justification on Monday.

Along with his sister-in-law, Ishrat Abbas was returning home after attending a hearing in the Court vis-à-vis missing (undeclared arrest) of his brother Yousuf Raza. When he reached Abul Hassan Ispahani Road, CTD cops took him into custody.
Yousuf Raza was missing for a long time and head of Jafaria Legal Aid has been hired as legal counsel. He is engaged in a legal battle to ascertain the whereabouts of Yousuf Raza. Now, his brother Ishrat Abbas who was helping his brother’s family as well was also taken custody.
CTD Police has framed false case against many Shia youths in a bid to equate the innocent Shiites with ferocious and notorious terrorists of banned takfiri outfits. Shia Muslims have condemned the witch-hunt against Shia youths by CTD police and demanded that all arrested Shia Muslims should be released and false cases against them be withdrawn.
