Shia will not tolerate hurdles in azadari, warns Allama Hamid Mousavi
Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) Pakistan leader Allama Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi has alerted the government that Shia Muslims would not accept any hurdle in azadari (mourning) for Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions (martyrs of Karbala).
Speaking at a press conference at his party’s headquarters in Rawalpindi, he said, enemies of Islam and Pakistan were out to destroy peace and unity of nation but Shia Muslims of Pakistan would crush their nefarious designs by message of unity and love. He said Shiites back armed forces of Pakistan for the sake of defence of the country.
He said that Imam Hussain (AS) was an Imam that meant infallible leader and his steadfastness to uphold the divine truth and his support to the cause of oppressed people earned him adoration from whole mankind.
He urged scholars to propagate the message of true Islamic ideals including message of unity and tolerate during their sermons and speeches at Moharram congregations. He condemned growing Indian belligerence at the Line of Control and its brutal actions against the Kashmiris in IOK.
