Four terrorists arrested from Multan with arms in CTD police raid

Four takfiri terrorists of banned Deobandi outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban were arrested with arms in a raid conducted by Counter Terrorism Department of Police in Multan on Friday. They were also working for Wahhabi takfiri outfit Daesh (ISIS aka ISIL).

 

Police officials received a tip-off after which it raided and arrested four terrorists and recovered eight hand grenades and other explosive material.
They are said to belong to the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Two of them named Yasir and Rashid hailed from Lahore, while Saeed Khan hailed from South Waziristan. Irshad is from Sheikhupura.
They were plotting a terrorist attack on the railway station. The hand grenades have been defused by the bomb disposal squad.
Police have started further investigations and are interrogating the suspects for more information.
