Faisalabad administration also has banned entry of peaceful and patriot Pakistani Shia Muslim scholars in the district during Moharram. The Punjab administration is wrongfully equating peaceful co-religionists of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah with those who declare Mr. Jinnah as kafir (heathen).

In all entry of 59 persons was banned. Among them some of the thugs of the proscribed ASWJ are also included and that ban on proscribed outfits’ thugs is understandable and lawful.
Unfortunately, ban on qualified Shia scholars such as Allama Sajid Naqvi, Allama Iftekhar Naqvi, Syed Mohammad Taqi, Allama Arif Wahidi, Mohammad Hussain Najafi (Allama Dhakoo) is tantamount to deny Shia Muslims their fundamental right to hold Moharram azadari. Ban on entry of Allama Gulfam Hashmi was also imposed. Some days earlier, ban on his speech was lifted by Punjab government officials.
Shia Muslims preach the righteous stance of Imam Hussain against Yazid ibne Muavia, the tyrant ruler Umayyad dynasty and majority of the Muslims including Sunnis endorse this Shia ideology but pro-Saudi Deobandi takfiris have launched a unilateral war on Shia Muslims with an intention to force them not to preach this ideology.
