Taliban killed 61 Christian in attack on Church at Peshawar

taliban attack cristanAt least 61 Christian worshippers were killed and 45 others injured in the twin blasts of Taliban Deobandi militants hit a Christian church in Pakistan’s northwest city of Peshawar on Sunday morning.

The Saudi supported Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz are engaged in the talks with notorious Deobandi Taliban terrorists involved in the killing of more than 70 thousands Pakistani people including armed forces personnel, Shiite and Sunni Beralvi Muslims and religious minorities like Christan, Hindu and Others.

Police Commissioner of Peshawar Sahibzada Anees confirmed that 61 people were killed and 45 others injured in the attack and the killed include a policeman,four women and four children.

Local media quoted hospital sources as saying that 28 people were killed in the attack.

The attack took place at about 11:45 a.m.local time. Two Saudi Arab funded Deobandi Taliban suicide bombers blew themselves up at a Christian church in the Qissa Khawani market of the city when people were leaving the church after prayers, according to local officials and media reports.

About 300 people were at the site when the attack took place, said local media.

Earlier reports said that it was a single suicide blast, but bomb disposal squad officials later confirmed it was a twin suicide blast attack and the body parts of the twin attackers were found at the site.

An estimated 8 kg of explosives were used in the attack, said bomb disposal squad officials.

Police and rescue team rushed to the site shortly following the blasts.

All the injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, a hospital in Peshawar, which is famous for the treatment of blast victims.
