ameen shaheedi5Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has turned down the decision of the government-hosted All Parties Conference and announced they will hold Friday as a day of protest against the talks with the outlawed terrorist outfit Taliban.
“The Taliban terrorists and their affiliated outfits have inflicted irreparable losses on the Pakistan and Pakistani nation and they deserve capital punishment instead of mercy,” said Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM speaking at a hurriedly called press conference at the central secretariat of his party in Islamabad.

He said that more than 50,000 Pakistanis including security forces personnel, scholars and innocent civilians had to lose their lives because of the Taliban and its allies’ terrorism.

He said that the terrorists attacked the holy shrines of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Bari Sarkar and Baba Fareed of Ganj Shakar. He said the terrorists attacked GHQ of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force Base Kamra, Pakistan Navy’s PNS Mehran and several other sensitive installations and massacred thousands of civilians.

“Talks with the terrorists who reject Pakistani state, it ideology, its Constitution and who have massacred over 50,000 people will amount to give legitimacy to their ideology of insanity, terrorism and obscurantism hence there must be a tit-for-tat action to punish them for massacre of Pakistanis,” he demanded.

He announced that the MWM will lodge its countrywide protest against the APC decision on Friday September 13.
