Pak-Saudi Alliance Strengthened, Saudi Defence Minister in Pakistan
Saudi Defence Minister Muhammad bin Salman met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif before returning home after a two-day visit of Pakistan. The meeting was attended by Military high officials, ministers and members of the parliament.
The meeting encompassed discussion over Pak-Saudi relations, current situation of the Middle East and other issues of mutual interest.
PM said that the two nations enjoy bilateral ties and have stood with each other in dire times, should a need arise Pakistan will stand with his friend Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand skeptics claim par evidence that Pakistan’s sovereignty is itself threatened with Saudi-patronized militants, with Pakistan yet to register a complaint with its friend. Pakistan, being a good comrade neither whined or nagged its patron of the on-going militancy in Pakistan at the hands of Saudi-funded Jihadists.
After the amicable convention, PM office announced that the meeting was great success and new projects will come in the limelight. Saudi Defence Minister is said to have met the Chief of Army Staff as well, confirmed ISPR.
