MWM Candle Light Vigil Draws Thousand Across Pakistan to Honor Quetta Martyrs

Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan candlelight vigil across Pakistan drew thousands of political / religious parties and social society workers on Tuesday to honor and remember the martyrs of Quetta incident Aug 7.

According to news received, MWM held a silent protest to commemorate the martyrs of Quetta through candlelight vigil attended by thousands from the capital city itself.

In Karachi, the scores gathered at M A Jinnah Road near Numaish Chowrangi to include members of social society and MWM leaders, the same was witnessed in Lahore at press club, recording their silent protest against the atrocity.

Allama Hasan Hamdani addressed the protestors at press club lahore and said that we are on the roads for the past 3 months voicing against militancy in Pakistan. He said that their endeavor was not inclined towards a particular sect but for the whole of Pakistani nation. We will keep our struggle alive till the perpetrators are unveiled.

He announced a mass sit-in on sept 2 under the leadership of MWM Supremo Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, cordoning chief minister house, Lahore, till demands to “Rid Pakistan of Terrorism” are met. Cleaning pakistan of takfiri mind-set will only prevail once our demands are met. The governmetn should bear in mind that they face a nation which has a history of martyrs, fallen for the cause of the nation.
