Sunni and Shiites’ rallies to observe Protest Day of Sunni Ittehad Council

sicSunni and Shia Muslims stage nation-wide rallies and demonstration to mark the Protest Day of Sunni Ittehad Council against the terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zainab (AS), granddaughter of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), last apostle and Prophet of God.

Rallies and demonstrations were held after Friday prayers in all big cities and towns across Pakistan. Shiites too backed the Protest Day.

In Karachi, a rally was taken out from outside Khoja Masjid Kharadar. Sunni Tehrik’s rally was staged outside Karachi Press Club. The demonstrations were held outside of Jamia Masjid and local press clubs in all over the country.

The protestors were raising slogans against the takfiri terrorists, United States, Zionist regime of Israel and their allies.

They also condemned those Muslim rulers who have announced their support to the terrorists involved in insurgency and terrorism in Syria.

They condemned the attack on the holy shrines of Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and As-hab (RA). They urged the OIC to condemn the terrorists attacks on holy shrines and help Syrian government fight the terrorists.
