New Twist in Madressa Funding worth $ 3 million

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Minorities Wing Leader Javed Piyara claims funds worth 3 million dollars has been usurped of minorities and given to Jamia Haqqaniya.

Javed Piyara, while addressing a news conference revealed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government initially announced Rs 10 million on Soran Singh’s murder. Later, the relief was reduced to Rs 5 million which till date has not been received. Javed Piyara alleged that funds allocated for relief are now being invested in terrorism, “Our Brothers are in support of the hand that killed us.”

On the other hand PTI Chairman Imran Khan denies any allegation of terror support and reasons that this act would support bring seminaries in the main stream. Wonder whose main stream we talking of here? Masses are aware that Takfiri elements have penetrated civil and military establishment, soon to establish a Takfiri State. Trust thats not the stream that these seminaries are joining?

It is pertinent to mention here that there remain 19 state-run universities in KPK with a budget allocation of 4.7 billion rupees altogether; this includes building 10 new colleges in KPK.

Colleges aside, this brings Rs 0.24 billion to each university’s budget to cater its need.

Haqqani seminary alone has been awarded 0.30 billion, higher than any single state-run university itself, arising questions and eyebrows.
