Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen Central Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri on the 9th day of his hunger strike met with delegations from Civil Society and others.

He addressed them exclaiming not to budge an inch from his motive till their concerns are met in a written understanding with the government.

He expressed that being a leader of a party representing shiites in Pakistan it is his obligation to go to measures taking nations concerns to every platform. He said that Pakistan does not belong to a particular sect; it is for all, lest it be of any other religion for that matter. For the past three decades they face this oppression in their very own country. He said their plea is left at the stake of militants, so that our protest is not recorded against these evil regimes. He said that silence against oppression is in itself a sin and no matter what we shall never commit the same.

He suggested that though our democratic right of protest fight out the evil in this country. We fight a dual battle not only against the terrorists from a particular mind-set but against the evil-doers of this regime. Their remains malice in the flank of government institutions which needs uprooting.

He condemned the arrest of people for reciting durood and majalis, and inflicting district bans on his zakirs constraining them from travel.
