Dera Ismail Khan: Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen hunger strike camp reached DI Khan in collaboration with Shia Ulema Council against the genocide of shiites in the region at circular road, haidery chowk.

On May 13, MWM Allama Raja Nasir Abbas started its hunger strike against the brutality and genocide of shiite, to have entered its 9th day (today) in Islamabad. The call has been second by various other political and religious parties showing their allegiance for the carnage and atrocities against shiites in Pakistan.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz district president Rehan Malik Advocate led a delegation to the hunger camp, established now for the past three days.

Shia Ulema Council’s divisional president Syed Ali Zaidi condemned the target killing of shiites in the region. He said that though the CCTV footage is available of the recent incident, yet no efforts are made for perpetrators arrest. The federal government is least bothered in addressing our concerns. He condoned killing of innocent and affirmed to stand with the oppressed lest it be of any caste or creed.

He said that the government should take heed to the genocide with security measures fool-proof making arrest of the perpetrators for otherwise the protest will continue.
