MWM stages rallies to mark protest day against targeted murders

03Rallies were staged outside Shia mosques in the city to mark the protest day on Friday against the rising incidents of targeted murders of Shiites in Karachi.
Friday was observed as a protest day against targeted murders of Shia Muslims under the aegis of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Karachi chapter.

Shia Muslims gathered outside mosques after offering Friday prayers. They raised slogans denouncing the takfiri terrorists of the outlawed terrorist groups who claim responsibility for the genocide of Shiites in Pakistan.

They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with the slogans such as: “No to terrorism, No to genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Down with U.S., Death to Zionist Israeli regime, Death to Israeli agents, Death to terrorists.

Speaking at such protest demos in Kharadar, Ice Depot Malir, Landhi, Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony, New Karachi, Abbas Town, Gulshan-e-Hadeed and elsewhere, Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Allama Haider Abbas, Maulana Ali Anwar, Maulana Zulfiqar Jafari, Allama Deedar Jalbani, Mubashir Zaidi and other officials of the MWM demanded of the government to ensure immediate arrest of the target killers.

They said that the terrorists were fighting proxy war of the Zionists and imperialists in the sacred land of Pakistan. They said that the lenient policies of the polity and much-trumpeted talks of parleys had emboldened the terrorists.

They turned down any amnesty to the ferocious terrorists and demanded that a military operation be launched against the terrorists. They further demanded that the judiciary awards capital punishment to the terrorists. They demanded that those awarded death sentence should be publicly hanged so that abettors and supporters of these terrorists must fear for their fate.
