NAP: More than 2200 terrorists killed so far

Shiite News: Around 2 thousand and 225 terrorists have so far been killed nationwide in different operations that are being carried out in the entire country under the National Action Plan, initiated by the national consensus after the APS attack.

Federal Interior Ministry has issued a report regarding the progress made till 3rd April under the NAP in which it has been told that 364 terrorists were given death penalties under the counter-terrorism act, 322 facilitators of terrorists were arrested and around Rs.356.56 million were recovered from them. 160 cases were filed and 137 people were arrested for financially assisting banned organizations. 8 thousand and 253 suspicious people from all over the country were put in fourth schedule out of which movement of 2 thousand and 52 people was restricted. Also, Security forces recovered 16 thousand and 304 weapons during Karachi operation and 69 thousand and 179 criminals have been arrested.   

According to the report, 10 thousand and 346 cases were registered across the country on violation of loud speaker act, 3 thousand and 2 devices were taken into custody. In addition, 2 thousand and 477 cases were filed and 2 thousand and 358 people were arrested for making hate speeches and 73 shops were sealed. 11 special trial courts were established under the NAP where 190 cases were transferred. 4 thousand and 388 terrorists were arrested and 2 thousand 255 were punished nationwide.
