Shiites rally in Karachi to protest the terrorist attack on shrines of companions of Holy Prophet (PBUH)

Shia Muslims of Karachi staged a rally on Sunday night to express their anger and displeasure over the terrorist attacks on the holy shrines of Hazrat Jafar-e-Tayyar (RA) and Hazrat Hujr ibn-e-Odai.

Thousands of Shiites gathered outside of Masjid-e-Khair ul Amal and marched to Shahrah-e-Pakistan near Incholi. They were carrying the banners and placards inscribed with the slogans of Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH), Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) and Lbbaik Ya Mehdi (AS). They also raised slogans against the intolerant wahhabis, salafists and takfiris who have desecrated the holy shrine of Hazrat Hujr ibn-e-Odai near Damascus in Syria and Hazrat Jafar-e-Tayyar (AS) in al-Mazar Jordan.

Maulana Ali Anwar and other speakers who spoke to the protestors condemned the criminal silence of the self-claimed lovers of companions of Holy Prophet (PBUH). They said that since their Arab masters who are allied with the global imperialism and Zionism have financed, trained and armed the takfiri terrorists for terrorist attacks on the holy shrines of the Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and companions of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle and Prophet of God.

They said that the terrorists set holy shrine of Hazrat Jafar-e-Tayyar on fire in Jordan and exhumed the body of Hazrat Hujr ibn-e-Odai in Syria. They demanded the OIC, Arab League, UNESCO and international community to break their silence against the terrorists and played their role for protection of the holy shrines. They said that the Al-Nusrah front of rebels and terrorists were agents of Israel and the United States and the U.S. and Israel were directly involved in the said tragic attacks of the terrorists.
