Failure of Punjab police: Pakistan Army takes control of operation against Chotu Gang

Shiite News: Punjab police has failed against notorious elements of the society, an example of which was seen in its operation against Chotu Gang. Due to the failure of police, Pakistan Army had to take charge of the operation against Chotu Gang, going on in Rojhan area of Rajanpur district, on its 19th day.

DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa twitted that “Army troops have been deployed. Take over charge of operation. Cordon reinforced, police and Rangers already in operation will continue to participate under the army”.

He further pointed out that all available resources will be employed to accomplish the mission and regular updates will be shared with the media.

Army troops had joined the police on Friday in an effort to rescue 20 law enforcers abducted by gangsters three days ago.
