Iran to open branches of its banks in Pakistan

Shiite News: Iranian Consul General visited Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lahore and met regional chairman of FPCCI Rehman Aziz Chan, Syed Muhammad Asim, Pir Nazim Hussain Shah, Muhammad Yaseen, Mian Zahid Javed, S.M.Tariq, Musharraf Khuwaja, Mian Imran Asghar, Raja Hassan Akhtar, Ahmed Rafay, Raza Siddiqui, Shehzad Awan, Muhammad Atiq, Hussain Bakhsh and other members of FPCCI.

Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi said that Iran would soon open branches of its banks in Lahore. He further said “When Iran and Pakistan signed the gas pipeline project Iran had soon built its part of pipeline which was about 940km but Pakistan did not build pipeline in its own area”.

Bani Asadi also told that Iran would soon open branches of its banks in Karachi and Lahore and Pakistan can also open its banks’ branches in Iran’s major cities.

Zonal chairman of FPCCI Rehman Aziz said “The trade between Iran and Pakistan has decreased by 23%”. Representatives of both the countries agreed to organize single country exhibition to increase trade of sports goods, surgical instruments and other materials.
