Peshawar: Takfiri seminaries to be built under government supervision

Shiite News: Government of Pakistan has announced to build takfiri seminaries in FATA under government supervision and the government has also issued tender in this regard.

Building of such seminaries by the government of Pakistan in KPK and tribal areas which are already extremely sensitive regions with regard to religious terrorism is worrisome.

If the government plans to keep the control of these seminaries in its own hands then it is mistaken because Lal masjid is also under the control of federal government but it has been challenging the writ of the government since a long time. Therefore, it is better to build schools and colleges in these areas rather than building seminaries so that people of FATA would become educated and would themselves stand against terrorists.
