Deedar Ali of Islami Tehrik Pakistan takes oath as minister
Deedar Ali of Islami Tehrik Pakistan took oath as minister in Gilgit-Baltistan government on Friday as a result of accord with the Pakistan Peoples Party that was formally announced on Thursday.
Oath Taking ceremony for Deedar Ali and PPP’s Nisar Sarbaz was held at the Governor House in Gilgit. Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Pir Karam Ali Shah, Chief Minister Mehdi Shah, Allama Arif Wahidi, Allama Shabbir Meesami, Agha Abbas Rizvi, Shaikh Mirza Ali and other eminent notables attended the ceremony.
Deedar Ali is a member of legislative assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan province. Allama Wahidi had announced on Thursday that the deal with the PPP would bring two of Islami Tehrik’s stalwarts as minister and advisor in GB province and Azad Kashmir.
