Operation against banned organizations upon Army Chief’s directives

Shiite News: Upon directives of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif operation has been initiated against banned organizations in entire Punjab.

According to military sources, the operation has been carried out upon secret information and corps commander is supervising it.

Earlier, a senior level meeting took place at GHQ which was chaired by COAS General Raheel Sharif. According to ISPR, operation against terrorists in Punjab, after the Lahore incident, was reviewed in the meeting.

The participants of the meeting were told during the briefing that intelligence agencies, in collaboration with Army and Rangers, have so far conducted five operations in Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan and that the process would be continued.

Pakistan Army and Rangers had also arrested many suspected terrorists and their facilitators and also recovered a large amount of explosives and weapons during the operations.

Army Chief had chaired a high level meeting yesterday, after the Lahore attack in which DG ISI, DG Military intelligence (MI) and other senior military officials were present.

The whole nation supports army chief’s orders and initiatives and also demand that facilitators of banned organizations should also be arrested.
